My name is Mattis, and I am a lighting designer with a passion for timing, communication and collaboration.
I graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 2021 with a BA in Theatre Lighting Design.
My work spans accross musical theatre, dance, devised performances and site-specific plays.
I also make video content and projection-mapping solutions for live performance and installation art.
Coming from a musical background, I thrive for that magical moment where light, sound and action play together as one.
I pay great attention to timing in my work, to make sure each lighting state and transition fits within the rhythm of the piece.
